ORRCA hosted a meeting with Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister Shri @DKShivakumar , along with Commissioners and Senior Officials from BBMP, BCP, BMTC, BMRCL, DULT, BESCOM, BWSSB, Transport Department, and others at the Goldman Sachs campus on ORR on October 7th, 2023. The purpose of this meeting was to engage with various stakeholders groups i.e the citizens, corporates, developers of tech parks, government officials and solution providers etc and to partner effectively to address the growing concerns as each stakeholder needs to plays a key role in revitalising ORR. During the meeting, ORRCA reviewed the top 6 areas of focus. These related to development of Arterial roads, Traffic Management through deployment of addl resources, technology and restricting movement of high vehicular traffic, investment in developing service roads, footpaths, bus stops and continued focus on investment in public infrastructure, Metro and its first/last mile connectivity and shared mobility options for sustainable transportation on ORR. Deputy Chief Minister in his remarks has committed to reviewing the proposed action plans from all departments and to take immediate action. He promised there will be monitoring of progress against plan and has committed to regroup with ORRCA to review progress in 3 months. ORRCA is looking forward to success of the traffic decongestion program. We thank the Deputy Chief Minister and other officials for visiting ORRCA and committing to resolving employee /company problems along the Outer Ring Road.
