Today at Mahadevapura assembly constituency’s Sadaramangala lake, flagged off the “10,000 trees” scheme organised by Goldman Sachs by planting a tree and watering it.
With the co-operation of BBMP, Goldman Sachs company has pledged to bring back the beauty of greenary to Bengaluru.
The company has taken-up a unique initiative of planting 10000 trees in and around Namma Bengaluru by 2025. Under this project one sampling will be planted each for every employee working in India.
During this occasion, Goldman Sachs India CEO Shri Ravi Krishnan, M.D Shrimathi Archana Tayade, BBMP Special Commissioner Shri Trilok Chandra, Joint Commissioner Shri Venkatachalapathi, Rural Mandal President Shri B.N Nataraj, various other leaders and karyakarthas were present.
